Who is Jenny Knott?
Jenny started her
career with the auctioneers Bonham’s and in 1992 she embarked upon her own freelance career within this field.
Jenny has continued to work for Bonham’s and other auctioneers as a freelance consultant. Jenny has
lectured on antique cufflinks and men's accessories both in the UK and the United States and also worked with the The
Goldsmiths Hall on their Cufflink Exhibition.
Where do the cufflinks come from?
Jenny Knott Cufflinks are billed as antique and vintage. What
this actually means is that the cufflinks are old. To be antique items have to have been made more than
100 years ago. Many cufflinks sold to our suppliers date from the 1920’s and 1930’s and so
are not antique. However all of them are old and original – we do not sell reproductions.
The cufflinks are brought from various sources and as a company we travel widely buying from antique fairs, dealers,
auction houses and also in the States. Jenny personally sources and purchases each piece to ensure quality
and authenticity of the item.
